2019-20: Recorded five falls in limited action for the Pokes in 2019-20 … went 11-5 overall and faced three ranked opponents … went 3-1 at the Northern Colorado Open and placed second … went 5-1 with a pair of pins at the Cowboy Open on his way to a third-place finish … lost to third-ranked Boo Lewallan of Oklahoma State in his lone dual of the season.

2018-19: Redshirted the 2018-19 season … Went 10-4 overall in his redshirt year with six falls and three major decisions, wrestling primarily in open tournaments … Finished second in the amateur division at the Cowboy Open, where he competed unattached, going 4-1 with two falls and a major decision … Took second at the Northern Colorado Open, going 3-1 with two falls and a major decision … Also wrestled unattached at the Reno Tournament of Champions, where he went 3-2.

High School: Attended Poudre High School where he wrestled under head coach Barrett Golyer … Was a four-time state champion and four-time region champion … Also served as team captain all four seasons … Helped lead his team to second, third and fourth-place finishes at the state championships, as well as a conference championship and two regional championships … Was twice named to the All-State Academic Honor Roll as an honorable mention selection.
 
Personal: Jacob Greenwood was born November 27, 1998 to parents Bill and Bernadette Greenwood … His father wrestled for five years at Northern Colorado, while his mother played softball for five years at Colorado State … His hobbies include ranching, livestock and fishing … Plans to major in agricultural science at Wyoming.
