2018-19: Had an impressive first season in the Cowboy lineup as a redshirt freshman, going 22-15 overall with a 10-8 dual record at 197 pounds … Added three falls, a technical fall and two major decisions … Scored 35 dual points for the Cowboys in his 18 starts … Led the team in dual reversals with nine … Recorded two ranked wins on the year, an 8-6 win over No. 16 Malik McDonald of NC State in the Pokes’ dual win over the No. 4 Wolfpack and a 6-3 win over No. 20 Cordell Eaton in Wyoming’s rout of North Dakota State … Went 4-1 at the Reno Tournament of Champions to finish second in the 197-pound bracket … Finished fourth in his division at the Journeymen Classic … Took first at the Cowboy Open, going 3-0.

2017-18: Redshirted and went 13-1 overall with five pins at 197 pounds during his true freshman season, competing primarily in open tournaments … Took first at 197 pounds in the Elite bracket at the UNK Open … Also claimed the 197 title in the Amateur bracket at the Cowboy Open, going 4-0 with a fall and a 2-0 win over Max Wright in the finals.

High School: Cale Davidson took third in Kansas as a sophomore then helped lead his team to a 2016 championship, as he was a state champion. Additionally, Davidson was USAW Jr. National Folkstyle All-American. He won the Midwest Nationals at 182 pounds and also placed third at the Rocky Mountain Nationals.
