2012-13: Posted two personal best times during the season...ran 4:25 in the mile at the Force Team Challenge during the indoor season..notched a 15:15 in the 5,000 meters at the MW Outdoor Championships to finish 13th...also placed eighth in the steeplechase in 9:26 at the event...won the steeplechase at the Nebraska Quad in 9:30...also competed at in the MW Indoor Championships in the 3,000 meters and on the distance medley relay...named Academic All-MW.
2011-12: Had a strong indoor season as a member of the distance medley relay that placed sixth in the MW Championships and also competed in the 3,000-meter run at the Husker Invite where he placed 11th ... his outdoor season was highlighted by a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Air Force Relays and a seventh-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Azusa Pacific meet ... came in first in the 3,000-meter steeple at the Jack Christiansen meet.
2010-11: Banks improved nearly every time he set foot on the track, setting five personal records and earning six top-five finishes ... his best finish of the season came at the CSU-Pueblo Invite in which he won the 3,000-meter steeplechase ... he earned Wyoming points in the steeplechase in the MW Outdoor Championships, finishing seventh with a personal-best mark of 9:13.97.

2013-14: Finished in Wyoming's top four runners at all six meets during the season...placed in UW's top two in two meets...top performance was 18th in 24:44 at the Mountain West Championships to finish as UW's second runner...also placed second overall at the Utah Valley Invite in 18:22...earned another top-10 finish with seventh at the Highlander Invite in 17:57...named MW Academic All-Conference in the classroom. 2012-13: Placed 13th at the Rust Buster in 19:28 ... finished 14th at the Montana St. Invitational in 26:00 ... earned a 25th-place mark at the Rocky Mountain Shootout in 26:48 ... placed 17th at the Highlander Invitational in 18:31 ... earned a 35th-place mark at the Mountain West Championship in 26:09 ... competed in the NCAA Mountain Regional in 31:53 for 59th place ... named MW Academic All-Conference. 2011-12: Achieved sixth place at the Wyoming Invitational in 22:25 ... came in 12th place in 25:25 at the Woody Greeno Invite ... placed 16th at the Rocky Mountain Shootout in 26:37 ... finished Pre-Nationals in 25:48 for a 112th-place finish ... earned a 24th-place mark at the MW Championship in 26:14 ... competed in the NCAA Mountain Regional in 32:51 for 79th place. 2010-11: A consistent scorer for the team, providing several solid finishes in the fourth position for the Pokes ... earned first letter as a Cowboy ... best finishes of the season came at the Woody Greeno Invite and the Rocky Mountain Shootout in which he crossed the finish line in 22nd and 49th, respectively ... finished 109th out of 470 runners in the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark., considered one of the top races in the nation ... in the postseason, grabbed the 62nd position in the NCAA Mountain Region race ... also contributed to the Cowboy track squad, lending his talents to the 1,500-meter run ... one of the team's top 3,000-meter steeplechase runners.
Before Wyoming: Competed at the University of Auckland...gained experience representing his country in international competition in cross country and in mountain running ... was the 2010 U-19 New Zealand cross country champion, placing second in 2008 and third in 2007.
