Before Wyoming: Seven-time letterwinner in track & field and cross country at Weston McEwen High School…won individual state championships in the 800 meters (2016 and 2017) and 1,500 meters (2016)…a three-time all-state honoree and league MVP in 2016…received a Most Inspirational award in 2017 while helping his team to a state title…received Junior Olympics All-American honors in 2013…was the Vice President of the student body in 2017 and a National Honor Society member from 2015 to 2017...also received Academic All-American honors.
Personal: Born in Rawlins, Wyo., and is the son of Kara and Paul, who competed in track & field and tennis at the University of New Mexico…received appointments to Army West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy while also being recruited by Johns Hopkins…has his EMT and pilot’s licenses…involved in Honor Flights for American Legion Veterans…intends to major in nursing at UW.
