LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 10, 2023) – The Wyoming Cowboys Wrestling squad will compete in their final dual of the season this weekend as they head Corvallis, Oregon to take on Oregon State on Saturday.
"I thought we showed more heart and more fight last weekend, and with this being our last dual of the season, we need to maximize those two things and go out there ready to leave everything on the mat." Head Wrestling Coach

The Cowboys are coming off a split against Big 12 opponents picking up their first dual win of the season with a convincing 26-6 win over the Utah Valley Wolverines. The Pokes followed that up with a heartbreaking 16-19 loss to No. 19 Northern Colorado but, five Wyoming grapplers went 2-0 on the weekend.
The Pokes will now be led into their final dual of the season by the ranked trio of No. 18
Jore Volk (125), HM
Cole Moody (165) and No. 14
Jacob Wright (157). For Wright, he will continue to chase history this weekend as he currently sits at 98 career wins attempting to pass the century mark in his final season.
Oregon State enter the weekend 6-6 on the season with a 2-1 record against Pac 12 opponents. The Beavers are led by a contingent of seven ranked wrestlers including number six ranked Trey Munoz (184).
The last time the Wyoming and Oregon State met was a season ago in Laramie, Wyoming where the Beavers came away with a 22-12 victory. The Cowboys will be on the hunt for their first win over Oregon State since the 2017-18 season.
Saturday's dual is set to begin at 8 p.m. MT with live stats being available on track wrestling and live video available on the Pac 12 network.
