LARAMIE, Wyo. (Oct. 19, 2018) –  The Wyoming Cowgirl golf team winds down its four-tournament fall season this weekend as it heads to Lakewood Ranch, Fla., to compete at the Pat Bradley Invitational hosted by Florida International.
 
The tournament is set to be held at the par-72, 6,288-yard Cypress Links course located at the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club. The other 14 teams in the 15-team field include Eastern Michigan, Southern Mississippi, UTEP, Georgia State, FGCU,       UMKC, Florida Atlantic, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Jacksonville, McNeese State, Gonzaga, South Florida, Cincinnati and host Florida International.
 
Last season at the Pat Bradley Invitational, senior Gabrielle Gibson used a final-round 70 (-2) to claim medalist honors at the event. As a team, the Cowgirls recorded rounds of 305 (+17) and 294 (+6) to finish the tournament at 904 (+40), which was good for ninth-place.
 
Wyoming's lineup will include Erin Sargent, Megan Knadler, Sarah Hankins, Samantha Hui and Caitlyn Skavdahl.
 
The Cowgirls will look to build off an impressive finish at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate in Denver, Colo., earlier this month. Wyoming finished off the week with a 5-over 293, its lowest single-round score of the weekend, which also tied as the fifth-lowest single-round team score in school history. It tied the program's lowest single-round score at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate as well, matching last year's third-round total. The team finished in seventh at 28-over 892 which ties for third in the school record book for low team event score.
