Biography

2018-19 (Senior): Recorded an impressive senior season in 2018-19, competing in all 10 tournaments for the Cowgirls and recording top 25 finishes in seven of those appearances … Posted one of the best seasons in program history with a 75.3 season stroke average that goes down as third for a season in the program record books … Opened the season at the CSU Ram Classic where she tied for 13th with a 220 (+4), and tied her career low single round score with a 70 (-2) in her final round … Tied for 22nd at both the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate (235, +19) and the Denver Ron Moore Intercollegiate (222, +6) … Fired her lowest score to par of the season at the Battle at the Rock, firing a 219 (+3) to tie for 10th … Tied for 18th at the BYU Entrada Classic with a 221 (+5) … Finished tied for 24th at the NAU Red Rocks Invitational with a 219 (+6) to help lead the Cowgirls to their lowest team tournament score in program history … Tied for 25th at the Mountain West Championships with a 236 (+20).

2017-18 (Junior): Megan Knadler competed in all 11 tournaments of the 2017-18 season • Played in 32 rounds to finish the year with a 77.2 scoring average, the third-lowest average on the team • Finished tied for 29th at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate with a three-round 238 (+22) • Finished up the fall with a 36th-place finish at the FIU Pat Bradley Tournament behind a 13-over 229 that included a final-round 70 which was her low round of the season • Recorded her best finish of the season at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational, tying for ninth with a 7-over 151 and helping the Cowgirls to the program’s first team tournament win since 2008 • At the Mountain West Championships, tied for 27th with a 17-over 233 • Was named to the Academic All-MW Team.
 
2016-17 (Sophomore): Megan Knadler was one of four Cowgirls to compete in all 29 rounds during the 2016-17 season • The sophomore was fourth on the team with a 77.3 scoring average • Knadler posted four top-20 finishes, with her best coming at the Battle at the Rock • She finished with a share of fifth-place for the Brown and Gold after recording a three-round mark of 224 (+8). Her best finish of the fall came in the opening tournament • At the CSU Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic, Knadler tied for 29th with a 227 (+11) • At the MW Championships, Knadler was second on the team as she tied for 30th with a 232 (+16). 

2015-16 (Freshman): Knadler had four top-20 finishes during her freshman season and played in all ten tournaments • Her first top-ten finish came at the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate, as she tied for eighth place with a 224 (+8) • She opened the spring season with her second top-ten finish at the Grand Canyon Invite • Knadler finished tied for tenth with a 231 (+10) and helped UW to its fourth-best 54-hole score in program history (894 +30) • As a final tune-up before the conference championship, Knadler tied for 18th at the Bobcat Spring Invite with a 231 (+15) • At the 2016 MW Championship, she finished in 44th place with a three-round score of 245 (+29) • Named to the 2016 Spring Academic All-MW team.

High School: Megan Knadler joined Wyoming from Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, Ariz. • Lettered four seasons under head coach Christopher Barden • Finished 10th individually at the Arizona State High School Championship during her senior season • Named the JGAA Player of the Year in 2012 • Won the 2012 PING Arizona Junior Masters • Joined her sister Kaylee on the Arizona team of the 2013 Mary Cave Cup finishing in fourth place • Ranked as the fourth-best recruit in the state of Arizona with a stroke average of 75.4.

Personal: The daughter of Pete and Kathy Knadler • Born on August 10, 1996 • Kathy played golf for the Cowgirls from 1988-91 • Studying kinesiology and health promotion at Wyoming and her twin sister, Kaylee is also a member of the golf team.
