Shelby Johnson played in 20 sets during her senior season • Johnson posted a season-high six digs against South Dakota (8/26/17) • She tallied 23 total digs (1.14 dps) and four service aces (0.20 saps) • For her career, Johnson played in 97 sets and 33 matches • She totaled 129 digs (1.33 dps) and 13 service aces (0.13 saps).

Junior (2016) | Match-By-Match Statistics
Johnson saw action in 24 matches during her first season wearing the Brown and Gold • She started against Tennessee Tech (9/16) and also at Border War rival Colorado State (11/22) • Johnson totaled 106 digs (1.38 dps) on the season • She was one of five Cowgirls with at least 100 digs during the year • Her consistent play during conference action peaked in the season finale at CSU where Johnson recorded a career-best 18 digs • It was the lone match this season she recorded double-digit digs and was second on the team during that match • An Academic All-MW selection.   

Prior to Wyoming
Competed two years at Laramie County Community College • Played in 18 matches and 40 sets as a sophomore • Helped guide the Golden Eagles to a 26-15 overall record and a third-place finish at the Region IX North Conference Tournament • Averaged 1.13 kills per set and 1.40 digs per set during sophomore campaign • She was the team captain this past season and was a member of the Vice President’s Honor Roll • Additionally, earned NJCAA Academic All-Region honors • In 2014, she played in 40 matches and 147 sets • Was second on the team with 2.71 digs per set and third with 2.35 kills per set as a freshman.  

High School
A two-time letterwinner at Campbell County high school • A member of the 2013 Wyoming All-Star team • Also lettered three times in basketball for the Camels • She was a member of the 4A 2013 State Championship team • Was also named the team captain her senior year and All-State in 2014 • A member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll during high school.

Majoring in kinesiology and health promotion • Born October 26, 1995 in Gillette, Wyo. • Has two siblings, Jordan and Jacoby • Shelby Elizabeth Johnson is the daughter of Dan and Jori Johnson.
