Senior (2018) | Match-By-Match Statistics
Lewis wrapped up her Cowgirl career with a spectacular senior season in which she came up big for the Pokes in a number of matches • Played in all 31 matches for Wyoming and started in 16, totaling 114 sets • Recorded single-season career highs in hitting percentage (.231, 279-101-772), service aces (13), digs (104), and blocks (69) • Also led the Cowgirls with 279 kills on the season with a 2.45 kills per set average • Her 329 points were second on the team • Reached double-digits in kills 11 times throughout the year • Led the Cowgirls in kills in 10 different matches • Tied her career high in kills in the Cowgirls’ match against Syracuse with 21 • Posted a career high in digs with 11 against Iowa, paired with 15 kills for the second double-double of her career • Finishes her career at Wyoming with 871 total kills with 387 sets played • Also reached 271 digs, 201 blocks and 1,003.5 total points as a Cowgirl • Named to the Academic All-MW Team.


Junior (2017) | Match-By-Match Statistics

Emily Lewis once again played a significant role during the 2017 season • She started in 30 matches and totaled 109 sets • Lewis tied with Tara Traphagan for a team-best 312 kills • She led the Brown and Gold with 2.86 kills per set • Lewis also had 47 total blocks (0.43 bps) and 88 digs (0.81 dps) in 2017 • She was one of five Cowgirls with double-digit service aces with 11 (0.10 saps) • Lewis had 15 matches with double-figure kills • Against Portland (8/26/17), Lewis led UW with a career-high 21 kills • She also posted her first career double-double with 18 kills and ten digs against Fresno State (11/18/17).

Sophomore (2016) | Match-By-Match Statistics
Lewis competed in 29 matches with 18 starts during her sophomore season • Lewis was fourth on the team with 172 kills in 2016 • She was one of five Cowgirls with at least 100 kills • She also recorded 35 digs and 47 total blocks for the Brown and Gold • Her 19 kills at Colorado State (11/22) tied with Reed Copeland for the team’s season-high • Lewis recorded double-digit kills in six matches during her sophomore campaign, five of those came during MW conference play • She closed out the season with a kills per set average of 2.00, which was third on the team • Once again an Academic All-MW selection.  

Redshirt Freshman (2015) | Match-By-Match Statistics
Lewis played in 26 matches on the season, and saw action in 78 sets • Twice recorded double-digit kills during her redshirt freshman season • Posted a .391 hitting clip against Butler (8/29/15) behind a career-high 13 kills • Recorded a career-high four blocks against Idaho State (9/17/15) and Air Force (10/8/15) • Recorded 10 kills and five digs against McNeese State (9/18/15) • Finished the season fifth on the team with 108 kills, in addition to 38 blocks • Earned Academic All-Mountain West and Scholar Athlete honors.

A four-time letterwinner at Olathe North High School • A three-time All-Sunflower League selection, while being a team captain for two seasons • Selected for the United States High School Performance Continental Team • Lettered three years in track and field • An excellent student in the classroom, she was a member of National Honor Society.

Majoring in finance • Emily Elizabeth Lewis is the daughter of Mike and Katie Hines • Wife of former Cowboy football player Grant Lewis • Born January 29, 1996 in Peoria, Ill. • Has four sisters, Alysha, Sarah, Marissa and Johanna • Her mother played volleyball for the Cowgirls from 1984-88 and her father played baseball at Wyoming from 1985-88.
