Biography

2018-19: Banks appeared in all 32 games with 18 starts. An athletic guard, Banks averaged 5.2 points per game with 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Banks shot an impressive 50 percent from the field and 74 percent from the free throw line. He scored a career-high 20 points in the final home contest of the season against New Mexico on March 9. He average 11.8 points per game over the last four games of the season. Banks added 18 points in a non-conference contest at UTEP on Dec. 22. He went 6-of-10 from the field in the game. He also added eight rebounds in the contest. He finished the season with 49 assists including 24 in the final seven games of the season. He recorded a season-high five against New Mexico on March 9.

Before Wyoming: Banks, is a 6-2, guard from Las Vegas, Nev. He recently finished his sophomore season at Pratt Community College. He averaged 11.2 points per game last season in 25 games. Banks added three rebounds per game and 3.3 assists per game. He shot 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from behind the three-point line. As a freshman at Pratt, Banks averaged 6.9 points per game and 2.3 assists per night.  

Banks also received recruiting interest from Utah State, Pacific, Florida International, Jackson State and Stetson.
 
High School: Banks played his high school basketball at Cheyenne High School in Las Vegas. He averaged 11.4 points per game as a senior and led his team to a 16-7 overall record.
