2020-21: Racked up five wins in his first season with the Cowboys including two bonus point wins… Earned his first career win as  Cowboy with a 18-10 major decision against Cameron Valvidez (MIZZ)… Pinned Garrett Henegin (AF) in 5:26 at the Air Force Individual Matches
 
Prior to UW: Was the 2020 197-pound NJCAA National Champion while at Western Wyoming CC. While with the Mustangs, Tomlinson was a two-time national qualifier while also winning the region/district championship both seasons. He was also a two-year team captain at WWCC.

High School: At the Terra Academy, Tomlinson was a three-time state place-winner while also winning a state title. He was a two-time state finalist and is the school's record holder for most takedowns in a single season, as well as for a career. Tomlinson was a three-time team captain and four-year letter winner.
