Lily Austin had an exceptional senior season in 2017 • Austin played in 109 sets, making five starts • She was second on the team with 299 digs (2.74 dps) after pacing the Cowgirls in eight matches • She recorded double-figure digs in 14 matches during her final season • She posted a career-high 31 digs against San Diego State (11/15) • Austin led the team with 14 digs against Fresno State (11/18/17) and became the eighth Cowgirl in program history to record 1,000 career digs • As the only four-year senior in 2017, Austin’s 81 career wins is fifth all-time as a class • She closed out her career seventh all-time with 1,027 digs • She also finished ninth all-time with 101 service aces • Additionally, she is fourth in program history having played in 451 sets during her four years in Laramie.

Austin competed in 31 matches for the Brown and Gold during her junior season • She made nine starts in 2016 • Austin led the Cowgirls with 25 service aces (0.23 saps) and was third on the team with 249 digs (2.26 dps) • She had eight matches with double-digit digs, with a career-high of 21 at Idaho (9/15) • She also recorded at least 15 digs in six different matches • Austin represented Wyoming on the all-tournament team after the Purdue Mortar Board Premier • At the tournament, she led the team with 42 digs over the weekend • Austin recorded five service aces at Fresno State (10/20), which was the season-high for the team and one shy of her career-best • An Academic All-MW selection.

Austin saw action in all 30 matches, playing in 116 sets • Had five matches in double-figure digs with season-highs of 15 against Idaho State (9/17/15) and UNLV (11/21/15) • Made her 2015 debut against Ohio State (8/28/15), logging 11 digs • Posted 12 digs against Northern Colorado (11/12/15), and ten at Nevada (10/3/15) • Recorded a season-high three service aces against San Diego State (10/1/15) and at Air Force (11/7/15) • Totaled 204 digs, ten assists and finished the season as the team-leader with 25 service aces • Once again an Academic All-MW and Scholar Athlete selection.
Played in all 31 matches along with two starts and 116 sets in her first season • Saw the first action of her career against Washington State (8/29/14), while her first start came against Hampton (9/20/14) • Fourth on the team in digs with 2.37 per set • Recorded 28 service aces (0.24 saps) • In league matches, she averaged 1.84 digs, which was fourth on the team • Finished with a career-high 17 digs against Montana (8/30/14) and South Alabama (9/5/14) • Recorded double-figures in 14 of 31 matches in digs • Led the team in that category ten times during the season • Also an Academic All-MW and Scholar Athlete selection.

A four-year letterwinner at Skyview High School • A three-time First Team All-State selection, as well as a four-time All-Conference honoree • Also a three-time team captain • A member of the Boise Volleyball Club that earned a fifth-place finish at the Junior National Championships • Also lettered in softball earning All-Conference honors and helping lead her team to a State Championship in 2012 • An excellent student, she earned Academic All-Conference in 2011-2013 and was named the Skyview High School Student-Athlete of the Year in 2012.
