Biography

2016-17: Adams appeared in 24 games for the Pokes with 16 starts in his first season with the program. He averaged 7.6 points per game and grabbed 2.6 boards per night. Adams shot 43 percent from the field and 76 percent from the free throw line in 14.6 minutes per game. He scored in double-figures in 11 games during the season. He scored a career-high 24 points against Cornell on Dec. 17, as he went 7-of-8 from the field and 3-of-3 from behind the arc. The prior contest against Montana Adams added 10 points including a game winning three pointer in the closing seconds. He tied a career-high with seven field goals against Eastern Washington in the opening game of the CBI. He grabbed a career-high eight rebounds at Boise State on Feb. 18. In a Valentine’s Day matchup against Colorado State he recorded a career-high 12 free throws.

Before UW: Adams helped lead his team to their first NJCAA National Tournament since 2011 and helped win an NJCAA Region 5 Championship. He averaged 11.9 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds. He was strong from the field shooting 53 percent to go along with 72 percent from the free throw line. Adams closed out the season strong for Odessa College, as his team boasted an impressive 27-6 record. He averaged 18 points per game over his last nine games and 20 points per game in his last four contests. He earned All-WJCAC honors last season.

High School: Adams played basketball for his father Louis Adams Sr. at Orr Academy High School.
