Biography

2016-17: Lieberman played and started in 37 games. He averaged 4.8 points per game with 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds. He scored a career-high 14 points at Air Force on Feb. 4. He hit a career-high four three pointers in that contest. He recorded a career-high seven assists in the CBI against UMKC. 

2015-16: Jeremy Lieberman (pronounced Lee-burr-man) worked his way into Wyoming's starting lineup in 2015-16 with 22 starts, including the last 17 games of the season, and played in all 31 games. He averaged 4.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 20.9 minutes per game, while shooting 34 percent from the field, 35 percent beyond the arc and 77 percent at the free-throw line. He had three double-figure scoring games, including a career-high 13 points against Air Force on Jan. 6. That showing against the Falcons included a career-high four threes. He also snagged a career-high seven rebounds against Nevada on Jan. 20 and played a career-high 38 minutes against San Diego State on Feb. 24. His other double-figure scoring games were 12 points against Utah State on Feb. 6 and 11 at Colorado State on Feb. 20. 

2014-15: Lieberman appeared in 25 games as reserve guard in his first season at Wyoming. He averaged 1.4 points, 0.8 assists and 0.6 rebounds in 9.0 minutes per game, while shooting 27 percent from the field and 70 percent at the free throw line. His top performance was nine points against Florida A&M on Nov. 26, as he followed with a career-high 31 minutes versus Stetson on Nov. 26. He also made a career-high two threes at Air Force on Feb. 7.

Before Wyoming: Lieberman signed with Wyoming in November of 2013. A 6-1, 175-pound point guard, Lieberman was ranked as the 32nd-best recruit in California by ESPN.com and was given three stars by Scout.com.

Lieberman played his prep career under coach Jon Palarz at Calabasas High School. As a senior in 2013-14, Lieberman helped the team finish 28-6 overall and 13-1 in league play to advance to the state tournament. As a junior in 2012-13, Lieberman and the Coyotes went 23-6 overall to advance to the quarterfinals of the section championship. He averaged 18.1 points, six assists and four rebounds per game and had 11 games scoring more than 20 points. During his sophomore campaign in 2011-12, Lieberman helped Calabasas win its first section championship in school history with a 28-4 overall record and 13-1 in league play. He was named the Marmonte League MVP.

Personal: Lieberman was also recruited by Gonzaga, St. Mary's, San Diego and UC Davis. He is majoring in social science at Wyoming.
