2023-24 (Redshirt-Sophomore): Ding compiled a 2-6 record at HWT … he made four dual starts, going 0-4 … Ding recorded both of his wins at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
 
2022-23 (Redshirt-Freshman): Appeared in the starting lineup for the first time in his career competing in duals against Northern Iowa, SDSU and Utah Valley… Finished second at the Cowboy Open with a 3-1 record… Finished sixth at the Reno Tournament of Champions posting a record of 4-2 with two bonus point wins helping the Cowboys to a second-place team finish... Earned his first career Big 12 All-Academic honors being named to the First-Team. 

2021-22 (Redshirt): Only competed once after joining the Cowboy squad for the spring semester… Took second place at the Rocky Mountain Invite picking up two wins in his lone outing of the season. 

High School: Ding put together an impressive prep career which he capped off by becoming two-time undefeated Texas state champion... He was also a five-time All-American and national champion while competing in high school and was ranked as high as 12th nationally... Excelled in the classroom as well earning crimson honors
