2025-26 (Redshirt-Sophomore): Swan bumped up and started at 165 pounds, compiling a 14-13 record, which included a 3-5 mark against ranked competition. As the No. 7 seed, he placed fifth at the Big 12 Championships, logging wins over Boeden Greenley (North Dakota State), Zyon Trujillo (Utah Valley), No. 6 Gabriel Schumm (Cal Baptist) and No. 8 Marcus Espinoza-Owens (South Dakota State). Swan garnered his first-career ranking, ascending as high as No. 31 in the Coaches’ Ranking. He placed sixth at the Soldier Salute Tournament. Swan was 6-5 in duals. He caught fire at the end of the season, winning eight of his final 12 bouts of the season, including postseason.
2024-25 (Redshirt): Swan redshirted, competing in four tournaments, compiling a 16-3 record at 157 pounds.
2023-24 (Freshman): Swan compiled a 14-9 record, which included a 1-6 mark against ranked wrestlers. He burst onto the scene with a very strong Reno Tournament of Champions third-place finish that made him a mainstay in the starting lineup at 157. Swan’s tourney featured his first-career ranked win, which was a technical fall of Oklahoma’s No. 28 John Wiley. Even with only half a season of work, he still managed to lead the team with six major decisions and was tied for second on the squad with 12 near falls. Swan’s .478 bonus-point win percentage was also second on the squad. He went 4-3 in duals at 157. Swan added a 1-3 postseason record and was 9-3 in regular-season tournaments.
High School: Swan closed out his prep career at Buchanan High School with a runner-up finish at the California State Championships. He finished fourth at the 2021 Folk Style National Championships. Swan captured the 160-pound title at the 2021 USMC Folkstyle National Recruiting Showcase.
Personal: Swan is majoring in American studies.
