He started the season in the lineup but incurred the injury at the Battle in the Barn. Ducca held serve as the No. 8 seed at the Big 12 Tournament, going 2-3, and placing eighth. Four of his nine wins were bonus-point wins, three major decisions and one technical fall. Ducca went 5-3 in duals, and he was 2-0 in regular-season tournaments. He was named an NWCA All-American. Before Wyoming: Ducca began his collegiate career at Edinboro University where he compiled a record of 24-14 over two season. He finished fifth at the 2022 MAC Tournament. Ducca excelled in the classroom, as well, earning NWCA Scholar All-American honors twice and was named to the 2022 Academic All-MAC Team. He was also a two-time Edinboro Scholar Athlete honoree. High School: Ducca attended high school at Ashtabula St. John. He finished as the runner-up at the Ohio State Tournament along with being an All-Ohio selection in football.
