Before Wyoming: Ryan, a native of Aurora, Colo. is the sister of former Cowgirl Morgan Ryan. She was a four-time letterwinner in golf a Grandview High School. She is a second team all-state performer and earned All-city and All-League honors as well. She was also named Team MVP in 2022 and 2023. An excellent field hockey player, Ryan is an All-State honorable mention performer and played in the Colorado All-Star Game.
 
She qualified for the 2022 Optimist Junior International Golf Tournament in 2002. She also was runner-up at the 2023 Wyoming Junior State Amateur. She was an Academic All-State selection in 2022-23.
