Biography

2023-24 (Freshman):  Noah Wagner joined the Wyoming Cowboy Golf program in the fall of 2023 from Pueblo, Colo., after signing a National Letter of Intent with the Cowboys in November of 2022.  Wagner played in four of five tournaments for the Cowboys in the 2023 fall season.  His best finish was a 19th-place showing at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational hosted by the Air Force Academy, where he played as an individual. 
 
High School:  Wagner played his high school golf at Pueblo West High School in Pueblo, Colo.  He was a four-time Class 4A All-State selection in golf and won the South-Central League championship three times.  He led his Pueblo West team to a fourth-place finish in the 4A State Golf Tournament in October of 2022, and he placed eighth individually -- only three strokes back of the state champion.  In July of 2022, Wagner played in the U.S. Junior Amateur at Bandon Dunes, Ore.  The 6’ 3”, 200-pound multi-sport athlete, Wagner was a starter in basketball for three seasons at Pueblo West High.  A 4.0 student, he earned Academic All-Conference honors and was involved in his high school’s DECA program, making it to the DECA state competition all three years he participated.  He played for head golf coach Dan Sanchez at Pueblo West. 
 
Personal:  Wagner is the son of Sara and Jamie Wagner.  His father played basketball at Bismarck State in Bismarck, N.D.  Wagner plans to major in business at UW.  Wagner was also recruited by Air Force, Colorado State University Pueblo and Creighton.
