LARAMIE, Wyoming (11/6/26) – University of Wyoming men's golfer, Brody Leid, capped his strong fall season with a couple of solid tournaments in October. As a result, he was named the Mountain West Conference Men's Golfer of the Month.
Leid tied for third at the Tall City Classic before concluding the fall season with a share of 28th at the Ka'anapali Classic. The Tall City Classic was Leid's third top 11 of the fall, which included an individual title at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite in September.
Four of Leid's six rounds in October were under par. He was in the red all three rounds in Midland and fired a 64 (-7) in the final round on the island, which included six birdies on his second nine.
This represents Leid's first Golfer of the Month honor of his career. He was named Freshman of the Week four times in his first year in Laramie.
Wyoming doesn't return to competition for a couple of months. The Pokes compete at the Arizona N.I.T. from Feb. 1-2.
