High School: A graduate of Plainfield North High School in Plainfield, Ill., Frankel competed in cross country and track, earning six letters, multiple city championships, a regional championship in 2018 and a team state appearance. On the academic side, she was a member of NHS, an honor roll student, was awarded Southwest Prairie Conference Scholar-Athlete in 2020, a two-time Illinois State Scholar, an AP Scholar honoree and earned the President's Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. Personal: Daughter of Kimberly and Kevin Frankel. Chose Wyoming over Appalachian State and the University of Illinois Chicago for its great cross country program and coaches.
