Indoor Track & Field: Was one of the top distance runner for the Cowgirls during the season competing in the 5000M and 3000M… Clocked a time of 9:50.98 in the 3000M moving into ninth all-time in program history in the event… Moved into fourth all time in program history in the 5000M with a time of 16:57.37… Was the top Cowgirl placer in the 5000M at the Mountain Wets Championships finishing 15th with a time of 17:25.01… Finished 28th in the 3000M at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 10:06.51… Took third in the 3000M at the Prairie Wolf Invitational with a time of 10:09.87. High School: A graduate of High Country Christian Academy in Florence, Colo., Simshauser ran cross country and track as a team captain as well as a four-time state qualifier in track and cross country, a two-time cross country conference champion and a cross country region champion. On the academic side, she was named to the honor roll all four years. Personal: Daughter of Kelly and Rich Simshauser, sister of Kaylee. Sister Kaylee is a member of the Wyoming Rodeo team. Chose Wyoming over Colorado-Colorado Springs, Colorado State-Pueblo and Western for the supportive and motivating team and coaches. Plans to graduate in 2025 with a degree in kinesiology and health.
