2018-19: During the indoor season, had a season best 800m time of 2:22.79 at the Powder River Dual… Had a season best mile time of 5:03.81 at the UCCS Open… Recorded a season best 3,000m time of 10:28.05 at the Colorado Invite… Finished 27th in the 3,000m at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a time of 10:36.91… Placed 20th in the mile prelims at the MW Championships in 5:16.66… During the outdoor season, recorded a season best 1,500m time of 4:50.54 at the Doug Max Invitational.
2017-18: Indoors… Ran her way onto three all-time top-10 lists at Wyoming… Posted the third-fastest distance medley relay time in school history (11:40.18) with a sixth-place finish at the Mountain West Championships… Recorded the fifth-fastest mile time in UW history (4:56.54) at the CU Invitational… Ran the eighth-fastest 800 meters in Cowgirl history (2:13.24) at the Powder River Dual… Finished first in the 4x800-meter relay at the Power Meet (9:38.53)… Finished 10th in the 800 meters (2:14.24) and 26th in the 3,000 meters (10:02.47) at the MW Championships… Outdoors, ran the Cowgirls’ fastest 1,500 meters during the season (4:27.28) at the 7220 Invite, which is the sixth-fastest time in school history… Ran in the 4x400-meter relay twice, with her fastest time coming at the CU Invitational (3:59.64)… Ran a career-best time in the 800 meters at the Beach Invitational (2:15.03)… Finished 11th at the MW Championships in the 1,500 meters (4:39.66)… Earned academic all-MW honors and was a MW Scholar-Athlete.
2016-17: Indoors, competed in the 800 meters at four meets, posting an indoor personal best of 2:15.96 at the Powder River Dual…won the 800 meters at the Rocky Mountain Classic…outdoors, competed in five meets…posted an outdoor personal best of 2:16.60 in the 800 meters at the Jack Christiansen Invite, taking fourth…also took fourth in the 800 meters in a dual meet at Colorado State…earned Academic All-MW and MW Scholar Athlete honors in the classroom.
2015-16: Competed in three indoor meets and three outdoor meets…ran the 800 meters in 2:21.58 at the Air Force Invitational, an indoor season-best…highest finish outdoors was third in the 800 meters at the Fum McGraw Invitational, clocking 2:20.11…named a MW Scholar Athlete in the classroom.

2018-19: Competed in and earned team points in five races during the season… Finished 83rd overall and fifth for UW at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships… Placed 48th overall and fourth for the Cowgirls at the Mountain West Championships… Her best finish came at the Roadrunners Invitational, where she was seventh overall and fourth for Wyoming, helping guide the Cowgirls to a team victory… Earned Academic All-MW honors.
2017-18: Finished second among the Cowgirls at the Pre-Nationals race, placing 222nd overall… Placed 54th at the Mountain West Championships, good for fourth among Cowgirls… Finished 104th overall at the NCAA Mountain Regional… Competed in all five races during the season… Scored points in three of the meets she competed in… Earned academic all-MW honors and was a MW Scholar-Athlete.
2016-17: Competed in two meets, taking 50th at the Colorado State Invite and 87th at the MSU-Bozeman Invite…earned MW Scholar Athlete honors in the classroom.
2015-16: Competed in two meets during the season...placed 76th overall at the Colorado State Invite in 20:00...also finished 56th at the Rocky Mountain Shootout in 24:03...named MW Academic All-Conference and a MW Scholar Athlete in the classroom.
Before Wyoming: One of the top distance runners in the state of South Dakota...ran for Jesse Coy at Rapid City Stevens High School...was named the 2015 Wendy's Heisman Trophy winner for the state...her resume at the state outdoor track meet includes first, second and fifth in the 800 meters; first, third and fourth in the 1,600 meters; and third in the 3,200 meters...also placed third and fourth at the state cross country meet...also earned multiple all-state honors in track and cross country...owned personal bests of 59.8 in the 400 meters, 2:17 in the 800 meters, 5:10 in the 1,600 meters, 11:13 in the 3,200 meters and 14:37 in the 4,000 meters...in the classroom was a member of the Honor Roll all four years...also participated in Student Council and National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Joy Person...born on April 22, 1997...has two brothers, Jacob and Benjamin...majoring in kinesiology at UW...also recruited by South Dakota State, South Dakota and Augustana.
