TRACK AND FIELD:
2018-19: During the indoor season, recorded a personal best 3,000m time of 10:31.28 at the Bison Challenge… Posted a personal best 5,000m time of 18:05.71 at the Colorado Invite… Had a season best mile time of 5:17.60 at the Powder River Dual… During the outdoor season, had a personal best 5,000m time of 17:36.66 at the Fum McGraw Invite… Recorded the fastest 10,000m time by a Cowgirl during the year at the Mt. SAC Relays in 36:07.09, which is No. 5 on the all-time Cowgirl list… Finished 15th at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships in the 10,000m with a time of 36:55.32… Placed 23rd at the league championships in the 5,000m with a time of 17:52.12.
2017-18: Indoors, set a personal-best time in the mile (5:08.56) at the Potts Invitational… Outdoors, did not compete during the season… Was a MW Scholar-Athlete.
2016-17: Posted one UW all-time top 10 mark, taking third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Jerry Quiller Classic with a time of 11:34.43, the No. 9 time in program history…indoors, competed in two meets…outdoors, competed in three meets, with two third-place finishes in the steeplechase…earned Academic All-MW and MW Scholar Athlete honors in the classroom.
2015-16: Indoors competed at three meets…won the mile at the Rocky Mountain Classic with a time of 5:09.72…outdoors placed fourth in the 3,000 meters at the Fum McGraw Invitational and fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Tom Benich Classic…posted a 3.78 GPA in the classroom, earning MW Scholar Athlete honors.

2018-19: Competed in four races during the season, earning team points in two of them… Finished 60th overall and seventh among Cowgirls at the Mountain West Championships… Finished 93rd overall and sixth among Cowgirls at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships… Finished 28th at the Wyoming Invite, which was fifth among UW runners… Placed 53rd overall at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational, which was fifth for Wyoming… Earned Academic All-MW honors.
2017-18: Finished 56th overall at the Mountain West Championships… Placed 94th overall at the NCAA Mountain Regional… Competed in four races during the season… Scored points in three of the races she competed in… Earned academic all-MW honors and was a MW Scholar-Athlete.
2016-17: Competed in five meets…top showing was 35th at the MSU-Bozeman Invite…posted a 71st-place finish at the MW Championship meet...recorded a sparkling 3.85 GPA, earning MW Academic All-Conference and MW Scholar Athlete honors for the second straight year.
2015-16: Placed in Wyoming's top six in all five meets she ran in during the season...top showing was as UW's fourth runner and 43rd overall at the Mountain West Championships in 25:13...also placed as the fifth Cowgirl at the Rocky Mountain Shootout, Louisville Pre-Nationals and NCAA Mountain Regional...named MW Academic All-Conference and a MW Scholar Athlete in the classroom.
Before Wyoming: Ran her prep career at Berthoud High School...was a three-time all-state honoree in cross country and four-time conference champion...as a senior placed 11th at the state cross country meet...on the track placed 11th at the state meet in the 3,200 meters...as a junior...placed fifth in the 3,200 meters and eighth in the 1,600 meters at the Colorado 4A state meet...notched school records in the 1,600 meters, 3,200 meters and cross country (5,000 meters) during her career...owned personal bests of 5:11 in the 1,600 meters, 11:24 in the 3,200 meters and 18:20 in the 5,000 meters...was coached by Kristina Leonard and Colby Schultz.
Personal: Daughter of Kristina and Dale Leonard...her mother ran track and field and cross country at New Mexico from 1981-85...has one sister, Julia, and one brother, Kade...also recruited by Weber State, Arkansas State and Northern Colorado...majoring in nursing at UW.
