Coming off its best performance of the season at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Chandler, Ariz., earlier this month, the Cowboy Golf team will return to the course this Saturday and Sunday at the Nebraska Git-R-Done Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.

Wyoming placed 10th out of 23 teams at the Cowboy Classic and sophomore Tyler Severin posted his third Top 15 finish of the season, tying for 11th place.

About the Nebraska Git-R-Done Husker Invitational
The tournament takes its name from tournament supporter Dan Whitney (Larry the Cable Guy), whose catch phrase "Git-R-Done" has become famous through his comedy routines.

The field of teams for the 2021 Husker Invite will include nine teams. Wyoming will be the lone Mountain West school in the tourney. Michigan State, Minnesota and host Nebraska from the Big Ten will all be participating. Kansas State will represent the Big 12. Eastern Michigan, Kansas City, Louisiana-Monroe and Oral Roberts will round out the field.

The tournament field will feature three teams ranked in the Top 100 NCAA Division I men's golf teams (out of 290) in the most recent national rankings. Seven of the nine teams rank among the Top 125 teams in the country, including the Wyoming Cowboys. See below the Golfweek/Sagarin (as of 4-15-21) and the Golfstat (as of 4-13-21) national rankings.
