TEMPE, Ariz. – Wyoming men's golf is in 10th place after the first two rounds of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on Saturday at Karsten Golf Course. The Pokes recorded rounds of 287 (+3) and 286 (+2) for a total of 573 (+5).
Senior
Arron Lickteig led the way for UW with rounds of 71 (E) and 70 (-1) to sit one-under for the tournament and tied for 20th. Junior
John Murdock is just one stroke behind after carding a 72 (+1) in the opening round and a 70 (-1) in the second round to tie for 24th. Murdock played the par-three holes at one-under, tied for the second-best mark in the 85-man field and one of only five competitors to shoot under par.

Drew McCullough follows Murdock at +1 for the tournament after rounds of 70 (-1) and 73 (+2). An eagle on the par-four 13th highlighted McCullough's third round. Only 12 eagles were recorded in the 36 holes of play on Saturday. McCullough sits tied for 28th overall.

Glenn Workman logged rounds of 75 (+4) and 72 (+1) and is now tied for 52nd at +5 for the tournament. Senior
Quintin Pope struggled with rounds of 79 (+8) and 75 (+4) to tie for 79th overall at +12.
The Cowboys will conclude the tournament tomorrow with their final round beginning at 8 a.m. MT off of hole 10.
