Biography

2016-17 (Junior): Workman was one of the Cowboys’ top golfers, playing in all 11 of UW’s tournaments and averaging 74.9 strokes per round over 33 rounds. He posted three top-25 finishes during the course of the year. His first top-25 effort came in the season’s first tournament, the USAF Gene Miranda Invitational, where he tied for 19th place with a 222 (+6). His best finish of the season came at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, where he recorded his best three-round score of the year at 213 (-3). He posted his low round of the year in the first round of that tournament, a 68 (-4), before ending the tourney with a 69 (-3), finishing in a tie for 16th place. Workman tied for 23rd at the Duck Invitational with a three-round score of 219 (+6). He finished the year by tying for 38th place at the Mountain West Championships with a score of 222 (+6). In the classroom, Workman achieved Academic All-Mountain West and MW Scholar Athlete honors for the third consecutive year.

2015-16 (Sophomore):
Glenn Workman played in all but one tournament for UW during his sophomore season. He opened the campaign at the USAF Gene Miranda Invitational. He tied for 29th with a three-round tally of 220 (+4). At the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, Workman took a share of 30th with a 221 (+5). He then placed 22nd at the Cowboys Southern Dunes tournament with a score of 231 (+15). At the Wyoming Cowboys Classic, Workman shot a 219 (+3) before closing out his season at the BYU Cougar Classic tied for 53rd with a 232 (+16).

2014-15 (Freshman):
Workman played in every event for the Cowboys during his freshman season. He averaged 75 strokes per round after playing in all 35 rounds. His best tournament came when he tied for 14th at the Cowboys Southern Dunes with a total tally of 219 (+3). Workman notched three top-25 finishes during his freshman year. He earned top-25 finishes at Battle in the Tetons, when he tied for 20th, at the Cowboys Southern Dunes, when he tied for 14th and also atthe Mountain West Championship, where he tied for 19th. During his first appearance at the MW Championship, he shot his lowest tournament score of 216 (+3) and also a career-low score of 69 (-2) during the second round of the tournament. He finished the MW Championship tied as the top finisher for Cowboys with junior Kamrin Allen as they tied for 19th place with a score of 216 (+3).

High School:
Glenn Workman joins the Cowboys from Pueblo West High School in Pueblo, Colo. He was a four-year letterwinner under head coach Derek Towwey. Workman was also the team captain during his time at Pueblo West High School. Workman was a Southern Regional champion and state tournament qualifier. He won the Colorado Junior Golf Association Tournament of Champions crown during his junior season. Workman excelled in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society. He was also the Student Body President at Pueblo West High School and a representative at Boys State. He was a active member in the community as a leader in Rake Up Pueblo.

Personal:
He is the son of Todd and Kathleen. He was born on December 6, 1995 and studies Finance and Economics at UW.
