2022-23: Was a staple in the Cowboy throughout the season lineup competing in seven duals for Wyoming… Picked up a hard-fought dual win over Missouri’s Ryan Boersma coming away with a 3-1 decision victory… Opened up his season by winning the Cowboy Open posting a 4-0 record highlighted by a pin in the quarterfinals… Finished third at the Reno Tournament of Champions helping the Pokes to finish second as a team… Picked up three wins at the Soldier Salute finishing in seventh... Earned Big 12 All-Academic firts team honors. 

2021-22: Started in every dual for Wyoming in his Redshirt Sophomore season … Competed in his first Big 12 Championship tournament…. Rattled off four straight wins, including three bonus point wins, at the Reno Tournament Champions to earn a fifth-place finish… Went 5-1 at the UNK Open to finish earning a fourth-place finish… Finished fifth at the Cowboy Open with a 2-2 record… Excelled in the classroom as well earning Big 12 All-Academic First Team honors. 

2020-21: Started in one dual for the Cowboys and wrestled in two matches 

2019-20: Had a productive redshirt season for the Pokes, going 12-3 with seven falls while appearing in three opens … nine of his 12 victories came via bonus points … took second place at the UNC and UNK Opens … placed third at the Cowboy Open.

High School: Won the state championship his junior and senior season … had three top seven finishes at the NHSCA All-America … took fourth at the Flo Nationals his junior year … honor roll all four years in school.
Personal: Son of Terry and Karen Swartz. Born in Winner, S.D. has one sister, Tianna and a brother, Travis. Plans to major in biology.
