Career Highlights:

• 2024 Fifth-Place Finish at Reno Tournament of Champions

2024-25 (Redshirt): Herrera redshirted his first year with the program. He competed in five tournaments at 141 pounds, compiling a 16-6 record, 4-1 against Division I foes. Herrera placed third at the Reno Tournament of Champions after going 4-1. He logged his first-career win at the Mines Rookie Open and his first Division I win at the Younes Hospitality Open. Herrera was most successful winning by decision, only logging two bonus-point wins. 

High School: Herrera competed for Bakersfield High School. He participated in the state tournament this past season, advancing to the quarterfinals before bowing out.

Personal: Herrera is majoring in agricultural business.
