Biography

Freshman (2016): 
Appeared in all 20 games of the season for UW, and started in the last 11 contests… Logged 1,306 minutes of action, more than any other Cowgirl freshman… Scored one goal, the first of her career, against UNLV in her second start… Took five shots and put two on frame… Played all 90 minutes in two games, including UW’s Mountain West Tournament match against Utah State. 
 
High School: Mooney has been ranked within the top-15 in the Rocky Mountain Region on TopDrawer Soccer since the 2014...was a member of the Rush ECNL for four years, where she helped her team to a 2015 Denver Cup Championship and in 2012 her team won the U16 Arsenal Cup Championship...played for two teams in the Broomfield area, Legacy High School and Broomfield High School...in 2013, she helped her Legacy team reach the 5A State soccer semi-final game...a two-time letterwinner at Broomfield, she earned All-Conference honors as a junior...during the 2014 and 2015 campaigns, the team finished with two 4A Conference Championships and State Runner-up honors.

Personal: Born December 4, 1997...the daughter of Tim and Kristy Mooney...has two brothers, Brian and Tim...plans to major in criminal justice at UW.
