Biography

2023-24 (Graduate): Jadan Gonzalez enjoyed her best finish of the 2023 fall season when she placed 16th at the Colonel Wollenberg Ram Classic.  She averaged 75.25 strokes per round for the fall season and competed in all four of the Cowgirls’ four fall tournaments.  Gonzalez will enter the 2024 spring season having played in all 14 of Wyoming’s stroke-play tournaments over here two seasons as a Cowgirl.  She has had four Top 25 finishes during her two seasons at Wyoming.
                 
2022-23 (Graduate): Gonzalez was an integral piece of the Cowgirl lineup in her first season in the Brown and Golf competing in every tournament.  She had her best finish of the season at the Southern Utah Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational where she finished tied for seventh and helped lead the Cowgirls to their first team tournament win since 2018.  Gonzalez tied for 21st at the Mountain West Championship.  She added a 25th-place showing at the Silicon Valley Showcase to tally a total of three Top 25 finishes on the season.  Gonzalez put together a strong performance at the Mountain Classic Match Play posting a record of 2-1 leading the Cowgirls to a sixth-place finish as a team.  She closed out the year with a stroke average of 75.63 over 30 rounds of play.  Her stroke average of 75.63 ranked Gonzalez fifth all-time in program history for players competing in a minimum of 18 rounds during a season.  Gonzalez was named an All-American Scholar by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for the first time at Wyoming and third time during her college career.  She also earned Academic All-Mountain West Conference honors and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
                 
Prior to Wyoming: Before coming to Wyoming, Gonzalez competed for San Jose State playing in twelve tournaments throughout two seasons for the Spartans.  In her time at San Jose State, Gonzalez posted a career stroke average of 78.11 through 35 rounds of play with her best finish coming during the 2020-21 season when she tied for 10th at the Stanford Dual.  Gonzalez competed at the Mountain West Championship and NCAA Regional during the 2021-22 season.  She also excelled in the classroom being named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar in 2021, as well as earning Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors in 2019-20 and 2020-21.  Gonzalez was both a two-time Academic All-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete selection.  She completed her bachelor’s degree in business administration management at San Jose State in May of 2022.
                 
High School:  While competing at Glendora High School in Glendora, Calif., she was a four-time All-Palomares League honoree, helping her team to a league championship in 2018, as well as winning the individual league title in 2017.
                 
Personal:  Her father, Jess, played baseball in Wyoming in the 1990s.  Her brother, Jacob, played baseball at Ole Miss.
