Biography

2025:26 (sophomore): Cook finished 32nd at the GCU Invitational shooting 268 (+55), 61st at the Thunderbird Classic shooting 266 (+50) and 114th at the Cowgirl Classic shooting 263 (+47).
 
2024-25 (freshman): Competed in five tournaments for the Cowgirls with her best finish (54th) coming at the Ram Classic after shooting 235 (76-78-81). … Posted UW’s top score (227, +11) to finish 58th at the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Kapolei GC.

Before Wyoming: Erika Cook, who is from Greybull and played for Lovell High School, chose to stay home in the state of Wyoming for her collegiate golf career. Cook was named the WyoPreps Athlete of the Year for girls' golf in the fall of 2023 and was also the Wyoming Girls' Player of the Year in 2021. She became only the third girls' golfer in state of Wyoming history to win four consecutive state individual titles. She was named All-State all four years of high school. In 2020, Cook was a member of Lovell's 3A State Championship Team. Cook won 3A West Conference Championships in 2020, '22 and '23. 
 
In June of 2023, Cook placed first at the Junior World Qualifier played at Jacoby Golf Course in Laramie. Cook set the ladies' course record at the Powell Golf Course in August of 2021 when she fired a round of 61. She went on to win the 2021 Powell Club Championship by 29 strokes. Cook also holds the ladies' course record at Midway Golf Club in Basin, Wyo., with a round of 64, and she holds the ladies course record at Olive Glenn Golf Course in Cody, Wyo., with a round of 66. Cook has been an "A" Honor Roll student throughout her high school career. She played for head golf coach Dane Robertson at Lovell High. She is one of three children of Angela and Casey Cook. Cook plans to study business at Wyoming. She was also recruited by Delaware and Texas.
