Summary

Biography

2021-22: DuSell as a key member of the Cowboys helping lead the Pokes to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015. He played in 30 games with 20 starts on the season. DuSell added 7.5 points per game to go along with 2.3 rebounds and one assists per game. He ranked second on the team connecting on 54 three pointers. He scored in double figures 10 times during the season. He scored a career-high 22 points at Arizona, as he hit six threes in the game. He also hit six threes against Hastings College., as that tied a career high. He recorded a career-high six assists against Hastings College. He has hit 111 three pointers in two seasons with the Brown and Gold.

2020-21: DuSell had a strong first season with the Cowboys appearing in all 25 games with 11 starts. He added 9.7 points per game to go along with 1.9 rebounds per night. He led the Pokes with 57 threes on the season, which ranked sixth amongst freshmen in the nation. He also ranked sixth in the conference. He recorded a career-high 21 points to go along with six rebounds and six three pointers against top seeded San Diego State in the MW Tournament. He averaged 10.1 points per game in conference play, where he hit 37 of his three pointers. He scored in double-figures 13 times in his first season with the Brown and Gold.

High School: DuSell just finished his senior season at Arizona Compass Prep. He was rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. As a senior and core member of one of the top high school programs in the country, DuSell helped lead his team to a 24-6 record and a top-10 ranking in the state. In addition to his strong contributions during his senior campaign, he recorded averages of 14.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a junior. He played for head coach Ed Gibson.

 In AAU he played for Team Harden – Arizona and head coach, Christian Polk in the Adidas Gauntlet.

He also received offers from New Mexico, UTEP, Montana, Northern Arizona, UW-Milwaukee and Idaho State.
