Muhammed was a standout at Bishop Lynch. He was listed as a three-star recruit by Rivals. He has recorded 96 catches in his high school career for over 1,200 yards. He also has over 10 touchdowns in his career. As a senior, in nine games he recorded 34 catches for 455 yards. He is also a standout forward on the basketball team. During his career he earned All-State and All-District honors. He was also recruited by North Texas and Pitt.
