He finished the season with six tackles with five solo stops and one assisted tackle. He also added a pass breakup. He recorded a career-high two tackles against Air Force and Washington State. He added a pass breakup and a tackle against San Diego State. Also excels in the classroom being named Academic All-Mountain West team. 2023: Bell appeared in 12 games for the Cowboys as a true freshman.
