Biography

Sophomore (2022)
Made 11 starts on the season and played in 75 sets. Recorded 139 kills (1.85 per set) and had 24 blocks. Tallied 119 digs and averaged 1.59 per set. Had 11 aces in 2022. Had three matches with 10-plus kills and recorded 14 against SDSU (10/29). Had a double-double against Nevada (10/8) with 11 kills and 10 digs. Tallied five total blocks at San Diego State (10/13). Averaged 2.21 points per set.

Freshman (2021)
Garza played in 18 matches during the season and was sixth on the team with 77 kills. Garza averaged 1.64 kills, 1.19 digs and 2.13 points per set. Garza had a pair of matches where she tallied double-digit kills, including a season-best 13 against San Jose State (11/4). Finished the season with 19 total blocks and 12 service aces. Had six aces in the Cowgirl win at Wichita State (9/18).

High School
Garza was a four-time all-district selection during her high school career, including three first team honors (2018-20). In 2020, Garza was an Under Armour All-American nominee and was the 6A District MVP. Garza was a TAVC All-State honoree in 2019 and was named to the All-Galveston County and GHVCA All-Conference Second Teams in 2018. She was a U15 USA All-American in 2018 as well.
