LARAMIE, Wyoming (10/22/26) – The University of Wyoming soccer team travels to Colorado College on Saturday for a huge matchup at the top of the Mountain West Conference table. The game is slated for 5 p.m. at Stewart Field and can be streamed on MW+.
The Tigers are 7-4-4 overall and 5-0-1 (16 points) in league play, while the Cowgirls aren't far behind at 11-3-1 on the season and 4-1-1 (13 points) in conference. With just four matches left in the regular season, Saturday will not only go a long way in determining who makes the four-team conference tournament, but also who could claim the regular-season crown.
"I said from the beginning, they were going to be up there," head coach Josh Purdum said. "They're hard to play against. They're hard to scout for. They've got a lot of pieces up top and their goalkeeper is strong. Each team has a week to prepare for each other, and it's going to be an exciting one."
The Pokes are fresh off a 2-0 win over UTEP on Sunday. It was the first time this season that the Miners lost by more than a single goal.
Alyssa Glover assisted on both Wyoming scores, bringing her Mountain West-leading point total to 21. It's comprised of seven goals and seven assists. For her career, Glover owns 68 points, which is just one shy of the program record.
Three other Cowgirls have double-digit point outputs this season, as well. Isabel Vasco lays claim to 14 (five goals and four assists), while Maddie Burr has 13 (four goals and five assists) and Brooke Brown 10 (five goals).
Goalkeeper, Haley Bartel, earned her eighth shutout of 2026 on Sunday. She's turned away 48 shots with just 12 goals allowed for a GAA of 0.81.
Ella Ashouri paces Colorado College with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Bella Stewart and Finley Schoenbeck add some balance with three scores apiece. Regan Wallce has started every match in net and has collected 60 saves with just 19 goals surrendered for a GAA of 1.32.
The Tigers lead the all-time series with the Pokes, 13-8-0. Wyoming won last year's meeting, 1-0, in Laramie, while Colorado College claimed the last one in the Springs, 2-1, in 2024.
Following the trip to Colorado College, the Cowgirls close out their regular-season road match schedule at Grand Canyon. That one is set for Wednesday at 8 p.m. at GCU Stadium.
