PALM DESERT, Calif. – Wyoming Cowgirls golf struggled during the second round of the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic on Sunday, shooting a collective +35 (319) to drop from 17
th to 18
th in the 21-team field through 36 holes at Monterey Country Club.

Meghan Vogt shot a second-round 77 and is the top Cowgirl on the individual leaderboard at +11 for the tournament.
"Tough day today and not the outcome we had prepared for," UW head coach Josey Sender said. "We had too many compounded mistakes. Meghan had a fantastic rally today after a tough start."
No. 5 Oregon leads (-16) increased its lead to 12 strokes over No. 3 USC (-4) in the team race. Three Ducks – Kiara Romero (-6), Karen Tsuru (-5) and Suvichaya Vinijchaitham (-5) – are vying for the individual medalist honor entering Monday's final round.
"We have to have a reset tonight and trust in all the work they have put in over the last 10 days to have a positive finish," Stender said.
