LARAMIE, Wyoming (1/23/25) – The first wrestling Coaches' Ranking was released Thursday. Three University of Wyoming student-athletes appeared in the poll in No. 10 Joey Novak (197), No. 15 Jared Hill (157) and No. 25 Gabe Willochell (149).

The Coaches' Ranking is one of the tools used for NCAA Championships selection and seeding. This is the first of three releases with the next poll slated for Feb. 13.

The other tools used for NCAA selection include head-to-head competition, quality wins, RPI, conference tournament placement, results versus common opponents and win percentage. The first RPI poll comes out Feb. 13, as well.
