COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (9/23/24) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational on Monday. The Cowboys finished ninth as a team at 10-over in a tournament played at Eisenhower – Blue Course.

Colorado State took home the team title and individual crown. The Rams shot a collective score of 14-under, which was five shots better than the field, and Matthew Wilkinson topped the leaderboard at 206 (-10).
 
Jaren Calkins paced the Pokes with an impressive fourth-place finish at 211 (-5). He fired a final-round 70 (-2) that featured a trio of birdies.

Patrick Azevedo tied for 21st with a three-round total of 217 (+1). He carded a 73 (+1) in his last round on Monday that was littered with five birdies, four of which were on his final nine.

Kristof Panke registered a pair of birdies Monday en route to tying for 48th at 223 (+17). He closed with a 76 (+4).

Brody Leid saved his best round for last and moved up into a tie for 71st. He boasted a third-round 72 (E) to finish at 227 (+11).

Damon Vilkauskas rounded out the Cowboys, as he finished in a tie for 78th at 228 (+12). He recorded a final-round 74 (+2).

Davis Seybert won the individual tournament, which was competed on the Eisenhower – Silver Course. He boasted a three-round score of 207 (-9) with a pair of his rounds in the 60s.

Wyoming takes a week off before teeing it up again. The Pokes are at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational Sept. 30 – Oct. 1.
