LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 28, 2024) – The Wyoming Cowboy golfers will host the annual Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Monday and Tuesday at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Ariz.
The two-day event at one of the premium golf courses in Arizona will feature 36 holes on Monday and 18 in the final round on Tuesday. The event features 23 teams.
Wyoming will play their first round since shooting a 281 (-7) at the Arizona Thunderbirds Invitational on March 19. It was the second lowest round of the season for the Brown and Gold.
Jaren Calkins shot a 68 (-4) in the final round and was joined with a pair of 70 (-2) from
Kristof Panke and
Patrick Azevedo. Panke led the way with his fourth top-25 finish of the season.
Wyoming as a team this season has shot 15 rounds under 70 this season with six different golfers doing so.
