CALIFORNIA — On the third and final day of action in California the University of Wyoming Track & Field teams were back at it at the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invite. 
Katelyn Mitchem broke her fourth school record in the calendar year while Jaymison Cox, Gabby Drube and Jaheim Ferguson all entered the Wyoming record books in their events. 
Bryan Clay INVTIATIONAL 
	- Mitchem took six seconds off of the Wyoming record in the 1500. Mitchem ran a 4:13.25 en route to setting her fourth school record of the calendar year. Madelyn Blazo ran a 4:31.45 in the same event. 
- After topping the record books in the Indoor 400,  Cox breaks into the Outdoor record book in the same event running a 47.48 for the No. 6 time at UW. Cox finished in 13th place. Cox went 21.49 in the 200M to take 28th. 
- Ferguson went 52.23 to move up to No. 8 in the Wyoming record books in the event. Drube followed suit on the women's side and moved into the record book at No. 6 all time with a performance of 59.73. Ferguson also took 15th place in the 110M Hurdles running a time of 14.62. Drube went 14.69 in the 100M Hurdles for a 35th place finish. 
- To finish off the evening and the weekend for the Pokes Mac Zastrow ran a 3:49.23 in the 1500 to lead the contingent of Cowboys in the event. 
BEACH INVITE 
	- Kareem Mersal has one his best marks of the outdoor season going 25-0.75 in the Long Jump for a top-10 finish. Sadie McMullen hits a mark of 18-5 on the women's side to finish in 17th out of 48 competitors. Mersal's mark is the best in the Mountain West this season. 
- Tarique George and Nathan Reid go back-to-back for a tenth and eleventh place finish in the Discus. George went 175-7 while Reid threw 174-7. Cosette Stellern threw 153-7 for the Cowgirls and took 21st. 
- Aumni Ashby goes 38-11.75 in the Triple Jump for an 11th place finish. Jefferson Danso on the men's side of the event went 46-0.5 to take 14th. 
- Cameron Burkett throws 56-8 in the Shot Put for a 14th place finish. The freshman from Casper, Wyo., still owns the best mark in the conference after this weekend.
 Samuel Schneider went 6-7 in the High Jump to finish in 20th place.
The Pokes will be back in action from Golden, Colo., next weekend.
