LARAMIE, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming Track and Field teams have an exciting weekend ahead of them. The team will head out to California for four separate meets The Mt. SAC Relays, Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Long Beach Invitational as well as the Bryan Clay Invitational.
The 63rd Mt. SAC relays is a four-day meet held at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, CA and held by Mt San Antonio College. We will see our men's distance steeple chasers competing here for day one at 6:05 and day two at 10:00am.

The 2023 Pacific Coast Intercollegiate meet is a one-day meet held at Jack Rose Track in Long Beach CA and held by Long Beach State University. The first event for the cowgirls will be the 4x100 at noon and the last will be the cowboys in the 4x400. The 27th Long Beach Invitational is a two-day meet held at Jack Rose Track in Long Beach CA and held by Long Beach State University as well. The Bryan Clay Is a three-day meet held in Azusa, CA held by Azusa Pacific University. Keep a close eye for our top ranked performing athletes in the conference: Jahiem Ferguson 2nd in the 400 hurdles, Kareem Mersal 3rd in the Long Jump, Sadie McMullen 2nd in the long jump, Cameron Burkett 1st in Shot Put, and Nathan Reid 3rd in the Discuss. They are all trying to advance up the rankings in the conference and nationally as we get closer to the conference championships in May.
Nationally keep an eye out for Katelyn Mitchem who is currently ranked 3rd in the D1 with a time of 9:52.49 in the steeplechase.
