The 2022-23 college golf season will tee off Friday, Sept. 9 for the Wyoming Cowboy Golf team when they travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., to play in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational.
The Falcon Invitational will be a three-day event with one 18-hole round being played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9-11. The team competition will take place on the Eisenhower Blue Course, while the individuals not competing as part of their teams will play on the Eisenhower Silver Course. Both courses are located on the Air Force Academy grounds.

Breaking Down the 2022-23 Wyoming Roster
Wyoming welcomes back seven lettermen from last year's team, including the top three players with the lowest scoring averages from a year ago in
Jimmy Dales (72.38),
Patrick Azevedo (73.17) and
Kirby Coe-Kirkham (73.83).
Dales and Azevedo were also Wyoming's top finishers at last year's Mountain West Conference Championship, placing seventh and ninth, respectively.
This year's roster, includes two seniors in Coe-Kirkham and
Tyler Severin. Dales is the lone junior, and the other five teams members are all sophomores, including returners: Azevedo;
Jaren Calkins;
Aidan Mann;
Cade McLaughlin; and Wyoming's one newcomer in
Kristof Panke, who transferred this summer from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Panke comes to Wyoming after earning Third Team NAIA All-America honors at Lewis-Clark as a freshman in the 2021-22 season.
