"All-in-all a good tournament for us. To finish second out of 17 teams is something to be proud of with a young group.," said
Joe Jensen, University of Wyoming Director of Golf and Head Men's Golf Coach. "We've been relevant in our first two tournaments of the year, which is a good beginning that we can build on. We certainly have things we can work on, but overall I saw good things from our team.
"We're playing solid and the competitiveness I've seen from our guys is encouraging. I like the work and the effort the guys are putting in. We had three different players shoot our low round of the day in each round, and really all of our guys have that potential to be our low man on any given day. Our next tournament at New Mexico will feature a really good field of teams, so it will be a good next challenge for us."
The Ram Masters Invitational was played at the Fort Collins Country Club in Fort Collins, Colo. The course measured 7,218 yards and played to a par of 70.
