"Our goal with both of this week's tournaments was to put ourselves in contention on the final day, and we've done that," said
Joe Jensen, UW Director of Golf and Head Coach. "We lost some opportunities toward the end of Monday's final round, giving up a couple strokes, but we're in that top group and have a chance to move up tomorrow.
"Carl (Underwood) is playing well. He needs to go out with the same competitive edge tomorrow. I just want the guys to go out and play loose tomorrow like they did today and see us finish up on a strong note."
The Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational will conclude on Tuesday with a final 18-hole round at the Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo. Colorado National measures 7,676 yards and plays to a Par 72.
