"(Michael) Downey's heat went out at a quicker pace and he held it for the majority of the race," UW assistant coach
Scott Dahlberg said Friday. "Christopher (Henry)'s race went out conservative, but he stayed patient and then finished fast. These are good jumps for both of them."

Ja'la Henderson, the reigning Mountain West Women's Field Athlete of the Week, also had a great day on Friday. She posted a season-best mark of 19 feet, 10.75 inches in a field of 48 women's long jumpers in Albuquerque, edging San José State's Cambree Harbaugh for top honors among collegians.
