All-WAC Academic Release  

The University of Wyoming men's swimming and diving team wrapped up a great season in the pool last month and topped it off with another strong season in the classroom as 10 Cowboys earned All-Western Athletic Conference Academic Team honors on Friday. The 10 Pokes named to the team tied for the most in the conference this season.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. A total number of 40 men's swimming and diving student-athletes from the conference earned the award this season.

The Wyoming Contingent featured four juniors, three seniors, two freshmen and one senior.
