He went 8-2 overall, and 2-0 against Division I foes. McBride received his first-career dual start at Northern Colorado and defeated Enzo Cappabianca via decision, 1-0. He won the Colorado Mines Rookie Open, going 3-0, and took sixth at the Reno Tournament of Champions with a 4-2 mark. McBride was a bonus-point machine, as four of his wins were of the bonus-point variety. 2024-25 (Medical Redshirt): McBride competed at the Mines Rookie Open before sustaining a season-ending injury. He went 4-1 at HWT in his lone appearance. 2023-24 (Redshirt): McBride compiled a 2-5 record at HWT. He competed in two regular-season tournaments. McBride logged his first-career win at the Reno Tournament of Champions. High School: McBride was a two-sport athlete during his prep career at Valor Christian finding success in both football and wrestling. During his senior season, McBride went 39-4 on the wrestling mat with 35 of his wins coming by pin setting a new record at Valor Christian in the process. McBride capped off that season with a fourth-place finish at the Colorado State Championships. He also helped to lead the football team to two state title games.
