2025-26 (Redshirt-Freshman): Hoffschneider cut to 165 pounds and competed in one tournament. He went 2-2, all four bouts against non-Division I foes, at the Reno Tournament of Champions.

2024-25 (Redshirt): Hoffschneider redshirted his first year with the program. He competed in four tournaments at 174 pounds, compiling a 10-4 record, 2-2 against Division I foes. Hoffschneider won the Western Colorado Open. He registered his first-career win at the Colorado Mines Rookie Open and defeated his first Division I foe at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open. All but one of Hoffschneider’s wins were bonus-point victories. 

High School: Hoffschneider competed for Ponderosa High School. He captured an individual state title this past season, while also having a second- and third-place finish to his resume.

Personal: Hoffschneider is majoring in animal and veterinary science.
